This subject concentrates on the physicochemical properties of drugs and their effect on the design of dose forms. It examines in greater depth the formulation of solutions, suspensions, emulsions, powders, tablets, capsules, parenteral and ophthalmic products, topical and transdermal products as well as pulmonary aerosols. The various roles of polymers in pharmacy will be addressed.
