Globalisation is increasingly impacting on societies, economies, employment, health, cultures and, consequently, individual behaviour. What are the outcomes of this at the beginning of the 21st Century? This subject will be looking at Australian rural societies and will compare them to rural societies in different continents: North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
