Bachelor of Podiatry
Bachelor of Podiatry (Honours)

BPodiatry
BPodiatry(Hons)

Prior to 2010 the course was the Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) (Honours).

This program is designed to develop the knowledge and skills of students to prepare them to work as podiatrists in a broad range of clinical and related fields, whilst providing an emphasis on rural and regional practice. Students will also develop skills to become critical consumers of research underpinning evidence-based practice.

In addition to the aims of the Bachelor of Podiatry course, the Honours stream is designed to prepare graduates who will be critical consumers of research, with a knowledge of the three major research paradigms and the ability to design, conduct, and write up a simple research project. Through a process of mentoring, the course aims to encourage and prepare graduates to undertake a research career upon graduation.
