Abstract: This subject introduces the student to some managerial decisions that are made with regard to the financial operations of the firm. Skills are developed in the identification and analysis of financial problems which will allow the student to make informed judgements with regards to the day-to-day financial operations of the firm as well as its long term strategy and position. Students are introduced to the commercial environment in which the firm operates, as it relates to its financial situation.
