Abstract: Partnerships between agencies are currently seen as the only way to implement effective crime prevention initiatives. This subject, using an action research process, allows students to explore the value of the partnership approach whilst considering crime problems upon which there are diverse community views. Students interact with each other, and relevant community members, in the development of a crime prevention project and in conducting a process evaluation.
