Admission criteria
There are two levels of entry qualifications for students seeking to undertake the Graduate Certificate in Aged Services Management:
Level 1: Applicants with substantial aged care industry experience but who do not hold an undergraduate degree are eligible for admission into the Graduate Certificate course.
Level 2: Applicants who have a recognised undergraduate degree and relevant industry experience are eligible for admission into the Graduate Certificate course.
Credit
Students may apply for credit on the basis of previous postgraduate study in relevant subject areas at a recognised tertiary education institution. According to University policy, the maximum credit able to be awarded in the Graduate Certificate is 16 points.
The Graduate Certificate Aged Services Management has a close articulation that allows progression toward either a Graduate Diploma or Master of Health Services Management.
Graduation requirement
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 32 points.

Students must complete 32 points which includes 24 points of core subjects and eight points of restricted electives. The core subjects are

Professional recognition
Membership or accreditation is not required for employment as an Aged Services Manager, or required to conduct programs in Aged Services Management. Nevertheless, the program is accredited by the Australasian Council of Health Services Managers, whose accreditation processes are currently under review.
