Admission criteria
Admittance to this program is via two pathways:
- Undergraduate entry: third or fourth year students currently enrolled in an undergraduate Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary), Bachelor of Education (Primary), Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Science can apply for admission into the Graduate Certificate in Child and Family Studies. Admission will be contingent upon students demonstrating satisfactory academic progress as determined by the Course Coordinator.
- Qualified teachers who hold a three or four year teaching undergraduate or postgraduate teaching degree from any Australian tertiary institution or international equivalent.
Credit
No special arrangements apply.
Graduation requirement
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 32 points.

To be awarded a Graduate Certificate in Child and Family Services students will need to complete 32 subject points (4 standard subjects or their equivalent) comprising subjects from the following list:
