Admission criteria

Master of GIS and Remote Sensing

Applicants would normally hold a three year Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline or have extensive relevant industry experience to the satisfaction of the course coordinator. Students wishing to apply for admission based on relevant industry experience should discuss requirements with the course coordinator prior to applying.

Credit

Master of GIS and Remote Sensing

Upon admission to the Master degree, students will be awarded 48 points of credit for a fourth year of study completed as part of prior qualifications.

Articulation

The Master, the Graduate Diploma [exit point only] and the Graduate Certificate [exit point only] make up an articulated set of courses and credit is given in each higher level course for the subjects completed in the lower.

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 96 points.

Graduate Diploma of GIS and Remote Sensing [exit point only]

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 64 points.

Graduate Certificate in GIS and Remote Sensing [exit point only]

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 32 points.
