Admission criteria
Master of Leadership and Management (Policing)
Candidates for admission to the Master of Leadership and Management (Policing) degree shall: 1) either hold a Bachelor degree in a related area, or have qualified for an equivalent award; or 2) have completed the requirements of the Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Management (Policing) or subjects deemed equivalent by the Course Coordinator. Additionally, a number of police jurisdictions have credit arrangements with awards in AGSP , and prospective applicants should discuss these with the Course Coordinator.
Graduate Diploma of Leadership and Management (Policing)
Either hold a Bachelor degree in a related field, OR have qualified for an equivalent award OR have completed the requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management(Policing) or subjects deemed equivalent by Course Coordinator.
Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management (Policing)
either hold a Bachelor degree in a related field, or have qualified for an equivalent award OR be able to prove experience in a leadership and management role to the satisfaction of the Course Coordinator

Articulation
The Master, the Graduate Diploma and the Graduate Certificate make up an articulated set of courses and credit is given in each higher level course for the subjects completed in the lower.

Course structure
The Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Masters comprise core subjects deemed by the review team to be central to the role of police managers and leaders, as well as an opportunity to select a number of electives that will allow students to broaden their learning, and tailor their studies to equip them for management roles in law enforcement or more generic management and leadership positions in the public and private sectors after leaving.
