Admission criteria
For admission to the Master of Veterinary Studies, applicants would need to demonstrate that they:
- Have a veterinary science degree to enable registration by the Veterinary Practitioners Board of New South Wales
- Have a minimum of 2 years veterinary professional experience
Applicants with a first language other than English must satisfy Charles Sturt University’s normal requirements for language competency.
Credit
On completion of one year of study students may elect to exit the Doctor of Veterinary Studies and transfer to the Master of Veterinary Studies. Subjects in the first year of studies for the Doctorate (VSC707, VSC708, VSC709, VSC712, VSC714) count as credits for the paired Masters subjects (VSC507, VSC508, VSC509, VSC612, VSC614).
Graduation requirement
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 96 points.
