Admission criteria
Applicants for the Postgraduate Certificate in Chronic Care Nursing Practice are expected to:
- hold an undergraduate degree, diploma or equivalent in (registered) nursing,
- hold current registration as a nurse in an Australian state or equivalent if an international student,
- have at least one years' full-time experience working as a registered nurse
OR
- have appropriate academic or professional training or work experience acceptable to the University
Credit
No special arrangements apply.
Graduation requirement
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 32 points.

The course consists of three compulsory subjects and one elective totalling 32 points (four 8 point subjects):

NRS420 Perspectives of Managing Chronic and Complex Conditions
NRS421 Chronic Care Nursing Practice 1
NRS422 Chronic Care Nursing Practice 2
Plus one of the following:
NRS423 Advanced Chronic Care Nursing
or
HLT401 Contexts of Health Promotion
or
NRS513 The Nurse as a Health Teacher
or
NRS523 Rural Health Practice
+ Residential School
