Abstract:
This subject is an independent research study in an aspect of biomedical science related to the student?s area of speciality. The study involves the collection, analysis and interpretation of new data. The students will be expected to relate their study to practical issues affecting their profession.

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
? have developed the knowledge, skills and capacity to analyse, evaluate and review current research literature;
? be able to apply the results to the field of their speciality;
? have developed the capacity for independent scholarship and/or research.
