BUS345 Business Placement 2 (24)
CSU Discipline Area: Management (MANAG)
Duration: One session
Abstract:
This subject provides an opportunity to gain a substantial amount of course-related work experience. It will build a bridge between work and learning so that it enables a transfer of knowledge and skills between academic study and the work context. This will enhance a student's understanding of, and readiness to enter, their chosen profession. In a period of work totalling 400 hours (the equivalent of 10 weeks of full-time work) students will become more familiar with the type of work they will gain after graduation and will have work experience to enhance their resumes. Students work in an approved industry placement relevant to their course. Assessment is by satisfactory host evaluation of the experience and a structured account of the experience.
