Abstract:
In this subject, participants will explore, analyse and assess within a framework of relevant theory and research, current and emerging issues that business leaders will need to deal with, due to both the likelihood and potential consequences of these issues. Participants will be required to determine their issue priorities and issue management approach from the perspective of their own organisation.

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- Recognise, prioritise, critically analyse and evaluate, within a framework of relevant theories and research, current and selected priority business issues most likely to impact success of the participant's organisation within the context of an evolving dynamic business environment; and
-Understand approaches for developing and evaluating plausible responses to selected key business issues.
Syllabus:
The subject will cover the following topics:
Overview of the issue management process incorporating procedures for the identification of relevant key issues. These issues are likely to include a cross-section of the issues listed below: - Technological change - Evolving business networks - Business governance - Transnational and transregional trading - Integrated risk management - eBusiness strategy - performance measurement, including measurement of intangibles
