Abstract:

This subject describes the knowledge and skills required to facilitate the evaluation of an organisation involved in delivery of children's services through a quality assurance process and to manage regulatory compliance.

This subject introduces the knowledge and skills required to manage children’s services in relation to regulations and quality assurance. Strategies to evaluate an organisation for quality assurance and regulatory compliance are examined in detail.

This subject will build your knowledge of the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) quality assurance process and the regulations applicable to the ECEC profession. Emphasis will be given to the construction of knowledge that will support an organisation’s self-evaluation process and the subsequent development and implementation of a quality improvement process that will enable the coordination of an organisation for an external evaluation.
