Abstract:

This subject covers skills and knowledge required to analyse and apply effective adult literacy teaching practices to meet the needs of learners in vocational education and training (VET) contexts. Students will critically explore adult literacy theories and then apply these theories through the development of teaching strategies relevant to their practice and their particular VET context.
