EEB330 Developing the Vocational Education and Training Practitioner (8)

Abstract:

The aim of this subject is to provide underpinning skills and knowledge to enable the student to evaluate and critically apply the principles of inclusive teaching and learning into their own professional practice. It also discusses the social and economic imperatives which shape adult and vocational education and the strong orientation to social justice and equity which is embedded in Vocational Education and Training policy. It looks at the responsibility of those who work within the adult and vocational education field to meet the needs of its students and industry groups. An opportunity is provided for students to reflect on their learning in the area of adult and vocational education and training, including the extent to which they have developed the CSU graduate qualities.
