Abstract:

This subject offers an opportunity for participants to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of learning and teaching at their institution. The particular focus is on its context, its strategic directions, plans, systems and processes, its diverse student cohorts, and the professional development needs of its teaching and teaching support staff. Participants in this subject are required to critically reflect on their practice and demonstrate a deep-level understanding of the unique needs of their students and how best to support their learning by integrating institutional plans, technologies, systems and processes into their practice.
