Abstract:

This Subject will advance students’ capacities to critically examine a selected educational issue from an international perspective.  It will enable students to identify international practices which can contribute to strengthening the response to the selected educational issue within their school or educational and training workplace.  A period of intensive literature and research review will enable students to discern underlying philosophical assumptions and applications of theory to practice which stem from differing cultural, social, economic and political contexts.  Students will engage in an international experience and E-Seminar opportunities to reflect and draw conclusions leading to an improvement to current position taken in their professional setting regarding the selected issue.
