Abstract:
The Studio Pedagogy subjects are designed to provide students with practical instrumental teaching experiences and an awareness of a range of associated teaching methods and principles. This subject is the second of two subjects which will provide students with experience in teaching pupils from a beginner through to an advanced level. The focus of this subject is on teaching intermediate to advanced level pupils.

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- have an increased understanding of a range of teaching methods relating to their instrument
- have developed the ability to teach pupils from an intermediate to advanced level
- gain an understanding of aspects relating to the business of music teaching.
