Abstract:

This subject develops in students skills related to a number of management systems such as those to focused on assets, risk, finances, and capacity. Students undertake a project with an environmental business, agency or government department and gain key admininstrative and workplace skills that employers want environmental graduates to possess. Students work for 10-12 weeks in an approved industry placement relevant to the course. Assessment is by assignments based on the industry placement where the student investigates and reflects upon the context and processes of management in the work environment they observe and experience and an analysis of management outcomes.
