Abstract:
This subject will introduce students to research strategies in the Human Services and teach them to interpret research findings as well as conduct research in their own right. The subject will examine various methods of research, both qualitative and quantitative.

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- Be able to demonstrate a critical understanding of various research methods
- Be able to critically evaluate research reports
- Be able to prepare a research proposal concerning social issues
