HLT506 Health Master's Proposal (8)
CSU Discipline Area: Generic Science subjects (GENSC)
Duration: One session
Abstract:
This subject builds on the knowledge gained in HLT505 or BMS500 by providing students with the opportunity to develop their research question using a selected qualitative or quantitative methodology. After receiving approval for the proposed research topic, students will complete a comprehensive literature review, followed by development of their research question and preparation of a human ethical approval application for submission to a properly constituted Institutional Ethics Committee. This proposal will form the basis of research subsequently undertaken in HLT508 (Health Master's Project) or HLT509 (Health Master's Dissertation).
