Abstract:
This subject deals with dimensions of international organisational behaviour in cross-cultural business environments. The subject addresses a variety of management practices from a behavioural perspective and is concerned with the evaluation and critique of existing cross-cultural organisational, management and leadership practices, with a view to the development of more informed and effective practices.

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- be able to discuss the business and organisational context of organisational behaviour in a cross-cultural context;
- be able to use cross-cultural performance and managerial frameworks of organisational behaviour to interpret and explain international management activity;
- be able to describe and evaluate international and cross-cultural practices in the areas of organisational design, communications, cultural diversity and synergy, leadership, motivation and negotiation;
- be able to critically analyse management and leadership practices in cross-cultural work settings;
- be able to identify and outline current and emerging trends in international and cross-cultural organisational behaviour.
