Abstract:
This subject involves in-depth reading and seminars in one of a range of possible fields of study from modern Australian, American, European and international history. Individual reading subject programs are negotiated with the appropriate supervisor.

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

- be able to demonstrate a scholarly appreciation of specific topics and issues relating to that field
- be able to demonstrate a higher level analytical and research skills
