IMI519 Embedding Strategic Leadership (8)
CSU Discipline Area: Unallocated to a CSU Discipline code (OTHER)
Duration: One session
Abstract:
Multi-business unit organisations present many leadership challenges that are different to those found in single business unit organisations. Relevant leadership strategies for such organisations, given an organic view of the organisation, will be addressed. The organisational processes and structures necessary to sustain a strategic perspective in an increasingly turbulent context are considered. The subject seeks to provide psychological insights facilitating embedding a strategic perspective within organisations. Future strategic leadership issues, their consequences, and possible responses are identified.
