Abstract:

This is the first subject in a series of industry project subjects. Within these subjects a student will work in an industry setting and develop advanced level knowledge of industry projects. The student will also develop verbal and written skills in their field of expertise.

Available only to students in the Bachelor of Information Technology (Business Services).

Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

. have demonstrated knowledge and skills relevant to a professional environment;
. have demonstrated an advanced level of knowledge in an area of specialisation;
. have developed verbal and written skills relevant to advanced studies.

Syllabus:

The subject will cover the following topics:

Professional work experience (300 hours) Reflective reporting of the experience Progress reporting in the form of a log book
