Duration: Eight sessions

Abstract:

This subject requires the student to carry out an investigation of a topic selected by the student in conjunction with the student's supervisor. The results of the investigation will be written up as a thesis and presented for examination.

Assumed Knowledge:

DBA711 and DBA714 for students commenced prior to year 2012.
ITC711 , ITC712 , ITC713 and ITC714 for students commencing from year 2012.

Enrolment restrictions:

Restricted to students in the Doctor of Information Technology who have competed the four coursework subjects at a credit or higher average. Not available to students who have completed ITC715 .

The subject will cover the following topics:

Each student shall:
(a) pursue a program of research relevant to the chosen specialisation studies resulting in a thesis that is an original and significant contribution to knowledge; and
(b) conduct a research project based on the approved thesis proposal, working with supervisor(s) approved by the University; and
(c) present research findings in an approved thesis form for examination by examiners approved by the University.
