Abstract:
The aim of this subject is to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to deploy Windows Vista in an enterprise environment, including managing security and troubleshooting network-related issues. This is done within the context of Microsoft's Certified IT Professional certification.

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
be able to analyse the business environment and select an appropriate deployment method;
be able to prepare a system for clean installation or upgrade;
be able to deploy Windows Vista from a custom image;
be able to perform post-installation tasks;
be able to troubleshoot deployment issues;
be able to troubleshoot security configuration issues;
be able to apply security patches and updates;
be able to troubleshoot performance and reliability issues;
be able to configure and troubleshoot network protocols; and
be able to troubleshoot access to network resources.
