Abstract:
The subject gives students the Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: Windows Developer (MCPD: Windows Developer) certification which demonstrates that they have the comprehensive skills that are required to build rich client applications that target the Windows Forms platform using the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.

Syllabus:
The subject will cover the following topics:
Event Handling in a Windows Forms Application. Adding controls and handlers to a form at run time. Applying best practices when designing forms. Configuring Standard Controls. Create a form to select and view images by using the SplitContainer, TreeView, PictureBox, ToolStrip, and other controls. Create a form to specify report criteria by using the TableLayoutPanel, ListView, MonthCalendar, ComboBox, and other controls. Creating and Configuring a MenuStrip Control. Hiding and Disabling a ToolStripMenuItem. Apply best practices for menu design and development. Binding Data to a Control. Creating a Bound Form by Using the BindingSource and BindingNavigator Components. Implementing Accessibility Features. Implementing Windows Forms Inheritance. Reporting in a Windows Forms Application. Publishing a ClickOnce Application.
