Abstract:
This subject offers students the opportunity to engage in a real life international project. Students will work with a business that is either operating or has the potential to operate internationally. They will complete a project on some aspect of that business international operations. The students will further develop their problem solving skills as they undertake independent projects that link theory and practice. This will contribute to students development of a position on international operations.

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- Be able to demonstrate understanding of and undertake a real life international project using a process model that takes into account a long-term perspective;
- Be able to demonstrate understanding of how to operate in the international sector;
- Be able to demonstrate understanding of strategies that will improve an international business;
- Be able to demonstrate understanding of 'real life' experience and the model used for the study of the international business.
Syllabus:
The subject will cover the following topics:
- Historical and other perspectives derived from an international case study.
- A model to guide students in their study of a current international business.
- Since students will be engaged in independent projects there will be very little content that is core for the subject.
