Abstract:
This subject is an independent research study in medical ultrasound involving the critical review and evaluation of existing data and knowledge and/ if pre-approved, the collection, analysis and interpretation of new data. Students will be expected to relate their study to practical applications within the medical ultrasound.

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
have developed the knowledge, skills and capacity to analyse, evaluate and review current research literature;
have developed the capacity for independent scholarship and/or research;
be able to apply the results to the practice of medical ultrasound.
