Abstract:

This subject consolidates the student's knowledge and understanding of pharmacy practice, by preparing major literature reviews on topics in Pharmacotherapeutics or Primary Pharmacy Care, complementary to the student's previous qualification.

* have a sound knowledge of clinical and theoretical aspects of the nominated topic areas in either Pharmacotherapeutics or Primary Pharmacy Care;
* be able to evaluate the clinical and theoretical knowledge and identify its potential for application to research or practical use.

The subject will cover the following topics:

The syllabus will cover the following topics: * preparation of two substantial written review of the scientific literature on selected topics in either Pharmacotherapeutics or Primary Pharmacy Care. Students possessing the ACPP Graduate Diploma in Pharmacotherapeutics will be required to undertake literature reviews in Primary Pharmacy Care, whilst students possessing the ACPP Graduate Diploma in Primary Pharmacy Care will be required to undertake topics in Pharmacotherapeutics.
