REC302 Interpretive Guiding Management in Ecotourism (8)

Abstract:

This subject deals with the theory, practice and management of guiding for ecotourism, adventure tourism and related recreation activities that occur in national parks, cultural sites and other recreation/protected areas and commercial operations. It builds on existing knowledge about the role of interpretation in park management and ecotourism to focus on personal heritage and environmental interpretation techniques and interpersonal communication.The subject contains a total estimated workload of 150 hours.
