Abstract:
In this subject students experience the traditional manufacturing jewellery workshop/studio, working under the direction of the workshop manager/design maker in the production of retail jewellery.

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- competently work with independence in the jewellery studio
- produces pieces as directed by the workshop manager
- organise themselves to work with efficiency speed and accuracy
Syllabus:
The subject will cover the following topics:
Students will carry out tasks as directed by the retail workshop manager with whom they are undertaking the practicum. There will be no formal assignments however students will be required to keep a detailed/note book.
