CSU Discipline Area: Spatial Science (SPASC)

Abstract:

This subject extends the study of GIS. It develops advanced skills in the complex modelling of spatial data. Subject modules include: 1) A review of analysis functions, 2) Selected advanced analysis, 3) Modelling and flowcharting, 4) Raster analysis. The subject extends the students theoretical and analytical capabilities. The practical component forms an integral part in developing the necessary skills in GIS modelling. The subject contains a total estimated workload of 150 hours.
