This subject is intended to provide opportunities for advanced debate and syntheses relevant to speech pathology, and to allow students to update their earlier knowledge base and evaluate recent trends in their professional knowledge before embarking into professional life.

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
Demonstrate that they are abreast of recent advances in professional knowledge about speech pathology and related areas;
Be able to take critical perspectives in speech pathology topics;
Be able to present case studies and/or literature reviews that reflect knowledge of recent advances in evidence-based practice and critical perspectives on speech pathology practice.
