Abstract:
This subject will provide a comprehensive review of mathematics knowledge required of students studying within a Bachelor of Education (Primary) or Bachelor of Education (Primary and Early Childhood) or Bachelor of Education (K-12 Middle Schooling). This self paced short course will enable students to build on prior knowledge and develop deeper understanding of the links and patterns in mathematics.

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- Confidently, without the use of a calculator, work with all types of numbers.
- Be comfortable with using the language of mathematics.
- Be able to work with concepts of space and measurement
- Be familiar with techniques for data collection and reporting
- Be familiar with pre-algebra concepts

- Decimal number properties and operations
- Fractional number properties, operations and applications
- Applications of percentages
- Measurement and space
- Properties of shapes
- Data collection and presentation
- Chance and probability
- Introduction to patterns
