Abstract:
This subject allows students to apply advanced social work theory from SWK501 and SWK502 to their own practice. The subject allows students to undertake a period of reflective practice applying theoretical understanding to practice situations. Students may choose to undertake a period of supervised practice where supervision is available.

Enrolment restrictions:
Restricted to students enrolled in the Doctor of Social Work.
Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- be able to reflectively apply theory to their own social work practice;
- be able to relate practice to established theories;
- be able to critically analyse theories in the light of practice and lived experience.
