Abstract:
This subject aims to develop students' analytical ability and critical reflection on research and practice. It is also designed to provide a vehicle for the collection of social work practice wisdom. It allows students to critique social work research in published journals and then to produce a publishable article in the area of social work practice.

Syllabus:
The subject will cover the following topics:
- developing reflective skills - social work research tradition - social work research critique - critical reflection on practice - incorporating research findings into practice experience - production of a publishable article
