Abstract:
This subject prepares students to work at professional level in a variety of roles through advanced level projects, with a focus on pre-production and production. Students contribute to advanced level projects from concept to completion in consultation with academic staff.

Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- be able to demonstrate practical expertise in their chosen area of production specialisation
- be able to develop television ideas from concept to completion, with an emphasis on the production process and practice
- demonstrate and understanding of the process of program funding for independent productions
- be able to develop expertise in the organisation and management of television projects
Syllabus:
The subject will cover the following topics:
- practice in the students' area of television production specialisation by means of workshops - unit production and management - processes and techniques of developing original production projects from concept to final presentation
