Admission criteria

The admission criteria for students entering the course:

International applicants must also meet the CSU admission requirements in terms of English language requirements.

Note: Currently this course is available to students studying through specific CSU campuses or partner organisations only.

Credit

A maximum of 8 subject (64 points) credit is applicable.

Overseas qualifications will be considered for credit towards the Associate Degree of Information Technology on individual basis.

Graduation requirement

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 128 points.

Professional recognition

The Australian Computer Society (ACS) accredits courses in Information Technology to verify that they meet professional standards in terms of content, staff skills, teaching facility and quality assurance. The parent program, Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) is accredited by the Australian Computer Society at the professional level. Accreditation will be sought for the new Associate Degree of IT, which is a subset of the BIT.
