Normal course duration
Full-time 3.0 years (6.0 sessions)
Admission criteria
Whilst there are no HSC subjects specified as a prerequisite for admission, school leavers are advised to include 2 unit Mathematics and 2 unit Chemistry in their HSC studies or recognised equivalent. Successful applicants who believe they do not have an appropriate high school chemistry background are strongly recommended to undertake the chemistry subject offered in the University's Studylink supplementary program prior to commencing study in the course.
Credit
Students with prior study in appropriate areas may be eligible for credit based on this study. Credit is also available for a number of TAFE qualifications at Diploma level and above.
Graduation requirement
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 192 points.
