Professional recognition
There is no Accreditation required for a general Sports Science Program. However, Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) is currently working with Universities to provide criteria and to identify employment opportunities for graduates of Sports Science Programs. When ESSA has developed these criteria, the Faculty of Education will seek accreditation for the program. However, this will occur within the Faculty course review processes.
