EMS442 Curriculum Method 2: Science (8)
Abstract|
This subject examines Years 11 - 12 syllabi and contextualises them within the framework of a national syllabus document. A major focus of the subject is promoting skills in selecting, planning and implementing lessons and teaching sequences for senior high school within a constructivist learning model, as well as assessment in science at a senior level. An understanding of diverse learners, safety issues and the application of information and communication technologies in science teaching explored in EMS441 are expanded as the ongoing nature of ensuring students develop a mastery of both literacy and numeracy aspects of science. |
