ACC430 Accounting Honours Dissertation (F/T) (32)

Abstract

Candidates enrolled in the Bachelor of Business (Accounting) (Honours) course are required to prepare a dissertation proposal, conduct approved research under supervision, and present the results of their research for examination in a form approved by the Faculty of Commerce.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
Critically investigate a theoretical or applied accounting issue
Write up the results of the investigation as a dissertation

Syllabus

The subject will cover the following topics:
Each student shall:
Pursue a program of research relevant to accounting resulting in a dissertation that contributes to the theory or practice of accounting
Conduct research based on the approved dissertation proposal, working with approved supervisor/s
Present research findings in an approved dissertation form for examination by examiners approved by the University
