ACG504 Communication in Business (8)

Abstract

Through this subject students will develop capabilities in clear and persuasive communication within a wide range of business settings relevant to professional accountants. Assuming graduate students are already skilled at written communication in an academic context, this subject will focus on business writing, oral presentation skills, inter-personal skills, communication across cultures, business etiquette, negotiation and conflict management, team management and electronic communications (e.g. social media). This is a practical subject and communication skills will be developed in simulated workplace environments.
