DOH252 Dental Clinical Practice 2B (12)
AbstractThis subject will continue the development of basic dental care skills including those of both simple restorative (operative) and periodontal procedures in the clinical dental environment. This skill development will be augmented with additional didactic learning on the nature of periodontics and its associated disease processes. The aetiology, diagnosis, and immunopathogenesis of periodontal diseases are presented in lecture and discussion sessions. An additional focus of the subject will be to develop an understanding of growth and development (both physical and behavioural) underpinning dental care for infants and children. |
