Abstract
This subject is a continuation of DOH 331. This subject is designed to provide students with the continuing opportunity to participate in the provision of more complex clinical care. There will be a special focus on pain control and pharmacology. The clinical component of the subject will continue to focus on periodontic, endodontic and restorative treatments as well as simple extractions and the provision of removable partial dentures. |

Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this subject, students should:
-be able to demonstrate continuing competence in a clinical dental setting;
-be able to demonstrate continuing competence in diagnosis and treatment planning for clinical dentistry;
-be able to demonstrate continuing development of skills in the management of patients with periodontal disease;
-be able to demonstrate developing knowledge and continuing development of skills relevant to the provision of simple safe local anaesthesia;
-be able to demonstrate continued development of clinical skills relevant to the provision of simple dental restorations;
-be able to demonstrate continued development of clinical skills required for the provision of relief of pain and simple endodontic treatment;
-be able to demonstrate continued development of clinical skills relevant to the provision of removable partial dentures;
-be able to demonstrate clinical competence relevant to the management of simple dental extractions;
