EMT446 Curriculum Method 2: Technologies (8)

Abstract

This subject builds on EMT445. The focus in this subject is on the Years 7-12 TAS classroom and a broad range of Technologies subjects; agricultural, food, graphics, industrial, information and textiles technologies. It aims to assist pre-service teachers to construct scope and sequence plans, units of work, assessment plans and tasks that are challenging, engaging, and supportive of student learning. Particular attention will be devoted to the implementation of relevant syllabus and related support documents, quality teaching strategies and assessment design practices for a specific context with special needs. Students will study the syllabus associated with their specific area of discipline.

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
